Canadian raised in Dubai, Mohd Zia Hassan has turned an early career in sales into an entrepreneurial journey spanning real estate, hospitality, beauty, trading, consultancy, and entertainment.
Every business journey has a starting point. For Mohd Zia Hassan, it began not in a boardroom, but in sales.
Working directly with customers taught him how to communicate, build trust, and understand what people genuinely value. Those early lessons, honestly, would later turn into the base of how he thinks about entrepreneurship and how he moves through it.
Born in Canada and raised in Dubai, Hassan grew up in a city known for ambition, opportunity, and constant change. Today, he is the Chairman of Infinity Group, a UAE-based diversified business group with interests across several industries.
From Sales to Entrepreneurship
In 2010, Hassan took his first major step into entrepreneurship by entering the electronics business. Running his own venture introduced him to sourcing, operations, financial risk, and customer expectations.
More importantly, the experience gave him the confidence to explore opportunities beyond one industry.
His next ventures included Infinity Cafe Lounge in hospitality and Infinix Infinity Real Estate, focused on property advisory and investment services. From there, Infinity Group continued to expand.
The group’s portfolio today includes Diva Beauty Lounge, BigBoss Elite Grooming, Diva Perfumes, and Infinity Business Consultancy, alongside interests in gold and diamond trading and the oil and gas sector.
Rather than limiting himself to one sector, Hassan has built his career around identifying opportunities and developing brands that respond to different customer needs.
Business Meets Entertainment
Hassan’s entrepreneurial interests also extend into media, music and entertainment.
His creative journey includes modelling and song production, while Infinity Events focuses on entertainment and corporate experiences.
Through Infinity Unplugged, Hassan has created a performance platform designed to give emerging singers a stage and wider audience. Infinity Talks, meanwhile, features conversations with celebrities, entrepreneurs, and public personalities.
These ventures reflect a broader ambition: not only to build businesses, but also to create opportunities for new talent.

Hassan’s entrepreneurial journey has received recognition across business, fashion, and entertainment.
On 25 July 2026, he received the Golden Excellence Award for Visionary Business Leadership in Diversified Enterprise Development at a ceremony held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan.
