The Prime Minister’s Office recently announced the opening of applications for the 10th intake of the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Program, which will run from July 9th to August 9th, 2024. The program aims to invest in Bahraini youth and prepare them to become future leaders in the Kingdom’s public sector. The Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office, Hamad Yaqoob Al Mahmeed, highlighted the importance of the program in empowering national leaders and promoting innovation and creativity within the government.

The Prime Minister’s Fellowship Program offers intensive 12-month training to young leaders, focusing on public sector decision-making processes, government program development, and connecting with current officials to understand the workings of the public sector. Successful graduates of the program have gone on to secure prestigious positions across the public sector, contributing to the overall progress and development of the Kingdom.

Al Mahmeed praised the contributions of past and current fellows to Bahrain’s advancement and development, pointing out their role in shaping the future of the Kingdom. He encouraged government employees below the managerial level to apply for the program through the PMO’s website at www.pmo.gov.bh. The program aims to upskill and re-skill participants, preparing them for leadership roles and responsibilities within the public sector.

The Prime Minister’s Fellowship Program aligns with the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in empowering national leaders to drive innovation and excellence in government work. By investing in Bahraini youth, the program seeks to create a new generation of qualified leaders who can shape the future of the Kingdom. With a focus on innovation and creativity, the program aims to nurture talent and foster a culture of accountability and transparency within the public sector.

The program’s emphasis on preparing highly qualified public sector leaders reflects the commitment of the Kingdom to investing in its human capital. By offering opportunities for professional development and personal growth, the program equips participants with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in leadership roles. Through hands-on training and mentorship from experienced officials, fellows gain valuable insights into the workings of the government and develop a deep understanding of public sector operations.

In conclusion, the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Program serves as a valuable platform for young leaders to enhance their skills, knowledge, and capabilities in the public sector. By connecting participants with government officials and providing intensive training, the program prepares them for future leadership roles. The contributions of past and current fellows to Bahrain’s progress underscore the program’s success in nurturing talent and driving innovation within the government. Applicants are encouraged to take advantage of this unique opportunity to contribute to the Kingdom’s development and shape its future.
