Amir welcomes Egyptian Foreign Minister

During the meeting, both parties expressed their commitment to further strengthen the longstanding relationship between Qatar and Egypt. They discussed various ways to enhance cooperation in different sectors, including trade, economy, investment, education, and cultural exchanges. Both countries have historically maintained strong ties, and this meeting underscored their shared commitment to deepening their partnership for mutual benefit.

One of the key topics of discussion was the ongoing regional issues and the need for collaborative efforts to address common challenges. Both Qatar and Egypt reiterated their support for stability and security in the region, as well as their commitment to finding peaceful solutions to conflicts. They also emphasized the importance of cooperation in combating terrorism and extremism, which pose a threat to the entire region.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for HE Dr. Badr Abdelatty to express Egypt’s appreciation for Qatar’s supportive role in various regional initiatives.
