ALSAYER Group’s Holistic Approach to Sustainability

ALSAYER Group’s approach isn’t simply about ticking boxes; it’s about fostering a culture where responsible practices are fundamental to every decision. Guided by its ‘Sustainability Gear Values’ – Nature, Society, Economy, and Wellbeing – the group has implemented integrated programs designed for lasting impact. Mohamed Naser Al-Sayer, Executive Board Member and Chairman of the ALSAYER Sustainability Committee, emphasized that this progress reflects a collective responsibility towards future generations, employees, and the broader community. This dedication ensures sustainable growth that is closely aligned with both national directives in Kuwait and global sustainability goals.

Investing in Future Generations: Education & Youth Empowerment

A core focus of ALSAYER Group’s 2025 efforts revolved around nurturing future talent through impactful partnerships and educational programs. These initiatives aim to equip young Kuwaitis with the skills necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving world, emphasizing the importance of environmental awareness alongside technical expertise.

Strategic Collaborations with Academia

ALSAYER Group’s collaboration with Kuwait University’s College of Architecture exemplifies this commitment. Students gained valuable certification training in GSAS (Global Sustainability Assessment System) and hands-on experience through an immersive program in Qatar delivered in partnership with GORD (Gulf Organisation for Research and Development). This direct involvement in sustainable design and construction practices prepares them for leadership roles in the future.

Furthermore, the group actively supported the Kuwait National Robotics Competition for its fourth year, highlighting their belief in fostering innovation and STEM skills. A partnership with Enviro Group saw over 200 students participate in a six-month training program focused on engineering and environmental solutions.

Promoting STEM and Renewable Energy

Beyond robotics, ALSAYER Group extended its support to the H2 Grand Prix Regional Hydrogen Vehicle Race, providing hands-on experience with renewable energy technologies and offering qualifying teams the opportunity to compete on a global stage in Switzerland in 2026. Events like the Lexus Kuwait carnival, with its VR racing simulations, creatively promoted STEM learning for younger students.

Operational Excellence & Sustainable Infrastructure

ALSAYER Group’s dedication to sustainable business practices extends beyond social initiatives to encompass its own infrastructure and operational efficiencies. The group hasn’t just talked about sustainability; it has demonstrably invested in it.

Infrastructure Development with a Green Focus

During 2025, ALSAYER Group commenced the construction of several new facilities: a flagship showroom, the region’s largest body and paint service center, and a new MNSS automotive service center. Each of these expansions was thoughtfully planned to integrate sustainable design principles, minimizing environmental impact and maximizing resource efficiency.

Leading the Charge in Clean Mobility

The launch of new electric vehicle (EV) models and the deployment of enhanced digital platforms solidified ALSAYER Group’s commitment to sustainable transportation. The practice of including EV DC charger technical training also underscores a proactive approach to supporting the expansion of clean mobility infrastructure throughout Kuwait. The Ardiya Delivery Center now operates on 25% solar energy, and the Group’s overall renewable energy efforts have generated over 13,000 MWh of clean energy since 2015. Recognition for sustainable design was given to the Auto Showroom in Abu Futaira, the Toyota Service Center in Rai 2 and the Lexus Quick Service Center.

Employee Wellbeing and Community Impact

ALSAYER Group recognizes that a thriving business is built on a foundation of engaged and empowered employees, and a commitment to the wellbeing of the community. Throughout 2025, the group prioritized both.

Cultivating a Positive Workplace Culture

The Annual Convention provided a platform to celebrate employee achievements and reiterate a dedication to excellence, transparency, and continuous improvement. CEO Mubarak Naser Al-Sayer emphasized the vital role of employees, highlighting qualities like curiosity, dedication, accountability, and collaboration.

Broadening Social Investment

Social investment expanded to encompass education, inclusion, health, and safety. The First Gulf Conference on Responsible Citizenship engaged over 750 young people in discussions on critical social issues. Furthermore, partnerships with organizations like the Kuwait Down Syndrome Association demonstrated ALSAYER Group’s unwavering commitment to inclusivity. Support for underprivileged children, breast cancer awareness campaigns, and health check-ups for employees further exemplified the group’s community focus.

Looking Ahead: A Sustainable Future for Kuwait

ALSAYER Group’s achievements in 2025 showcase a remarkable commitment to corporate social responsibility. Through strategic partnerships, innovative infrastructure projects, and a deep investment in its people, the group continues to pave the way for a more sustainable future in Kuwait. Nehad Al-Haj Ali, Group Manager of Corporate Excellence, accurately noted that the Group’s integrated approach to sustainability, coupled with digital transformation and consistent monitoring, will drive long-term shared value and support Kuwait’s national development ambitions.

By continuing to prioritize these values, ALSAYER Group is not only strengthening its position as a market leader but is also actively contributing to a more prosperous and environmentally responsible Kuwait for generations to come.
