The AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation has recently launched the second season of its “Ithra 1” Youth Enrichment Programme, targeted towards children aged 10 to 12. With nearly 40 participants, the programme aims to provide a dynamic learning experience through various activities and workshops covering a wide range of topics. The programme focuses on fostering self-discovery and personal development among the participants through practical workshops, field trips, challenges, team-building camps, and a dedicated sports day.

In addition to these activities, participants will also engage in arts and crafts activities, as well as lessons on practical etiquette and good behavior. The programme culminates in final projects, allowing participants to showcase their acquired knowledge and skills. Graduates of “Ithra 1” will have the opportunity to continue their educational journey in the Ithra 2 programme next year, catering to the age group of 13-15 years.

The programme’s overarching goal is to provide a holistic learning experience that goes beyond traditional classroom education. By engaging in hands-on activities and interactive workshops, participants are able to develop a wide range of skills and knowledge in a stimulating and supportive environment. This approach encourages creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities among the participants, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.

One of the key components of the “Ithra 1” Youth Enrichment Programme is its focus on personal development. By providing participants with opportunities to explore their interests, talents, and passions, the programme aims to help each individual discover their unique strengths and potential. Through a combination of hands-on activities, workshops, and challenges, participants are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, take on new challenges, and push themselves to grow and develop in new and exciting ways.

The programme also places a strong emphasis on social and emotional learning, teaching participants essential skills such as empathy, communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution. By engaging in group activities, team-building exercises, and leadership opportunities, participants are able to develop strong interpersonal skills that will serve them well both in school and in their future careers.

Overall, the “Ithra 1” Youth Enrichment Programme offers a comprehensive and enriching experience for young participants, helping them to develop essential skills, build confidence, and discover their unique talents and abilities. By providing a supportive and stimulating environment, the programme encourages personal growth, academic success, and social-emotional development, preparing participants for a successful and fulfilling future.
