Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs H E Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater recently met with Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina H E Husein Kavazovic to discuss cooperation between the two countries. The focus was on supporting and enhancing relations, particularly in the education sector. The meeting covered various topics of mutual interest to both nations.

During the discussion, the Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed gratitude to Qatar for its efforts in facilitating a ceasefire in Gaza. He also thanked H E the Minister of State for International Cooperation for attending and participating in the commemoration of the Srebrenica genocide. This gesture of support was acknowledged and appreciated by both parties.

On her part, the Minister of State for International Cooperation emphasized Qatar’s keenness to strengthen collaboration with Bosnia and Herzegovina across all areas, citing the historical and cultural significance of the relationship between the two countries. The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Bosnia and Herzegovina H E Meshal bin Ali Al Attiyah, further underscoring the importance of the discussions held.

The exchange between the Minister of State for International Cooperation and the Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina highlights the commitment of both nations to working together on shared goals and initiatives.
