Summer centers in Doha are currently in full swing, offering a variety of programs that have garnered positive reactions from students. These centers, a collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Ministry of Sports and Youth, aim to promote positive behaviors and enhance a wide range of skills among students during their summer break.

The main goal of these centers is to encourage students to make the most of their free time by participating in engaging and beneficial programs. These programs are designed to help students adapt to the demands of contemporary society and effectively tackle challenges that come their way. The activities offered at these centers cover a wide range of areas including scientific, sporting, recreational, social, artistic, and awareness-raising programs suitable for students of all ages.

One such center, the Doha Youth Centre, is currently hosting around 500 students at Khalifa Independent Secondary School for Boys. The summer activities at this center are designed to help students build character, develop skills, learn about teamwork, and take on responsibilities. Participants have expressed their joy in taking part in these activities, highlighting how they have been able to fill their free time with beneficial activities, make new friends, and gain valuable experiences.

Since its launch on July 1, the summer centers have attracted a total of 1,109 students in the first week alone. These centers, located in seven public schools, offer a wide range of programs tailored to different age groups. The activities include intellectual, physical, artistic, social, and awareness-raising activities aimed at providing students with a well-rounded experience that benefits them in various ways.

Overall, the summer centers in Doha have been successful in providing students with a positive and enriching experience during their summer vacation. By participating in these programs, students are able to develop important skills, build relationships with their peers, and make the most of their leisure time. The collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Ministry of Sports and Youth has proven to be a strategic partnership that benefits students and promotes their overall well-being.
