Riyadh Season 2024 is set to launch on October 12, offering a new wave of excitement with new areas and events that are sure to captivate visitors like never before. The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) has unveiled a lineup of attractions designed to elevate the season’s reputation as the world’s most diverse entertainment festival, ensuring that this year’s edition will be the most spectacular yet.

One of the new areas joining Riyadh Season is “THE VENUE,” which was built in just 50 days and can accommodate up to 8,000 people on a sprawling 10,000 square meter area. It will host several events, including the Six King Slam tennis tournament and the major fashion event “1000 Seasons and Seasons.” Additionally, the season will feature Latin Night and the JOY AWARDS ceremony, which honors entertainment makers in the Arab world.

In addition to these events, Riyadh Season 2024 will also host the Effie Awards to honor the most influential marketing campaigns in the Middle East and North Africa. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will make a return for its second appearance, promising adrenaline-pumping action for sports fans. A new attraction called the Boulevard Runway will feature three giant Boeing 777 aircraft transformed into shops, restaurants, and interactive experiences for adults and children.

The Wonder Garden has been enhanced to accommodate up to 23,000 people in nearly half a million square meters, offering more than 60 theatrical and roaming shows, 65 games and experiences, and over 40 restaurants. Via Riyadh will be fully air-conditioned by summer 2025, with upgrades including luxurious cinema halls and the Christian Dior Exhibition and Museum. The Groves will return with a new, permanent spot in Al Rafia district, featuring a theater overlooking a lake and new experiences and lounges.

Al Suwaidi Park will showcase nine cultures over 45 days, creating a carnival atmosphere with concerts, international stars, and a family-friendly shopping area. The Kingdom Arena will expand by over 40% to accommodate more spectators and host four international championships, including the IV CROWN SHOWDOWN boxing match and the 2024 African Super Cup Championship. Boulevard World will add five new regions, bringing the total to 19 regions with 300 restaurants, 1,400 shops, and 21 new events.

For the first time, an interactive padel experience will be held in partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo, combining sports, technology, and entertainment to create a cutting-edge event. These additions and enhancements promise a memorable and diverse entertainment experience for visitors to Riyadh Season 2024, solidifying its reputation as a must-visit global entertainment festival.
