Amazon MGM Studios has recently given the green light to the upcoming zombie comedy film “I Used to Eat Brains, Now I Eat Kale,” in a collaboration with Ryan Gosling’s production company, General Admission. The movie is based on an unpublished short story by twins Adam and Daniel Cooper and will be adapted for the screen by the authors themselves.

Ryan Gosling, along with Jessie Henderson, his partner at General Admission, will produce the film under their first-look deal with Amazon. The storyline of “I Used to Eat Brains, Now I Eat Kale” is set in a “post-post-apocalyptic” world and focuses on the challenges faced by former zombies trying to reintegrate into society. Despite the recent attention the project has garnered, specific plot details are still kept under wraps.

Although Gosling is attached as a producer, he is not set to star in the film, and the directorial helm is yet to be filled at this stage. Gosling, who recently worked on Universal’s “The Fall Guy,” is now preparing for his next acting project in “Project Hail Mary” for Amazon MGM, directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

Overall, the collaboration between Amazon MGM Studios and Ryan Gosling’s General Admission for “I Used to Eat Brains, Now I Eat Kale” signifies a promising venture into the zombie comedy genre. With the project being based on an original short story, the adaptation for the screen by the Cooper twins adds an exciting element to the film’s development.

The post-post-apocalyptic setting of the storyline offers a unique premise for exploring the challenges of former zombies transitioning back into society. The secrecy surrounding specific plot details adds an air of mystery and anticipation for audiences awaiting more information about the film.

While Ryan Gosling’s involvement as a producer adds star power to the project, his decision not to star in the film leaves room for other actors to take on the leading roles. The search for a director further adds to the intrigue surrounding the movie’s production and casting decisions.

With Gosling’s upcoming acting venture in “Project Hail Mary” showcasing his versatility and range as an actor, fans can expect a dynamic performance in this highly anticipated sci-fi project. As the collaboration between Amazon MGM and General Admission continues to unfold, audiences can look forward to a fresh take on the zombie comedy genre with “I Used to Eat Brains, Now I Eat Kale.”
