Bahraini graduates who have achieved high academic success during the 2023-2024 academic year have the opportunity to apply for a total of 4,000 scholarships and grants, as announced by Education Minister Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma. Students with averages of 95% or higher are eligible for 1,600 scholarships, while those with scores between 90% and 94.9% can apply for approximately 2,400 grants based on their cumulative GPA. The ministry is devoted to awarding scholarships to students with a GPA of 95% or more who choose to pursue their studies at the University of Bahrain or Bahrain Polytechnic, as long as they meet the necessary admission criteria.

In an effort to provide more opportunities for students, the ministry has granted six scholarships for studies in the USA and UK, with two scholarships specifically for Indiana University in Manufacturing, Automation, and Control Engineering. Furthermore, in collaboration with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), the number of nursing scholarships has been increased from 120 to 300 this year, covering various fields such as medicine, engineering, and more. Additionally, scholarships are now being offered for theatre and music studies in Kuwait for students in the Arts and Literary track, providing them with opportunities to study at prestigious artistic institutes.

The application process for these scholarships and grants opens today and will remain available until Saturday on the official websites of the Ministry of Education in Bahrain. Students who are interested in applying can submit their forms through the online portal. For any inquiries or assistance regarding the application process, students can contact the Information Systems Directorate – User Service through phone or email during working hours. Students who are seeking grants must ensure that they submit their completed forms immediately after receiving acceptance from their chosen university, within a two-month period.

For students who are interested in learning more about the available scholarships and grants, they can contact the provided phone numbers during official working hours to speak with representatives who can provide further details about the application process. It is essential for students to take advantage of these opportunities to further their education and pursue their academic interests with the support of scholarships and grants provided by the Ministry of Education in Bahrain. This initiative aims to encourage and support students in achieving their academic goals and pursuing their passions in various fields of study.
