Valo Aviation has made history by becoming the first business jet operator in the Kingdom of Bahrain after receiving its Bahraini Air Operators Certificate (AOC). The company is set to manage 15 aircraft from its base in Manama over the next two years, a significant development for Bahrain’s aviation industry. The announcement was made during the opening of the seventh edition of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2024 by Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The event, held at Sakhir Air Base under the patronage of King Hamad, has attracted attention from global aviation, defense, and technology sectors.

In addition to Valo Aviation’s milestone, a new partnership between IronNet, an AI-based cybersecurity company, and Asterion, a leader in counter-UAS technology, was revealed at the airshow. The collaboration aims to protect critical infrastructure through the integration of AI-based cybersecurity and counter-UAS solutions, highlighting Bahrain’s role in advancing global security solutions.
