The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST), in partnership with LinkedIn, recently held an exclusive alumni gathering in Doha, Qatar. The event featured sessions by Rami Sabri, Director of Public Sector for LinkedIn MENA, and Mohammed Al Hayder, founder of Takallam for Training and Development. The aim of the gathering was to provide recent graduates and experienced professionals with the tools and strategies needed to succeed in today’s competitive job market.

Rami Sabri led a session on “How to Rock Your LinkedIn Profile,” offering expert advice on optimizing one’s LinkedIn presence and building a strong professional network. Mohammed Al Hayder conducted a workshop titled “Reignite Your Career,” focusing on finding motivation, reigniting professional drive, and navigating career growth. These sessions provided attendees with valuable insights and practical tips to enhance their professional growth.

In a first for UDST, the event included an exhibition showcasing alumni-owned businesses. This exhibition offered a unique opportunity for attendees to explore the entrepreneurial spirit within the university community. The presence of alumni-owned businesses highlighted the diverse talents and innovative ideas of UDST graduates, further emphasizing the university’s commitment to nurturing future leaders and innovators.

Dr. Salem Al-Naimi, President of the University of Doha for Science and Technology, expressed his pride in hosting the exclusive alumni gathering.
