The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued a yellow warning for rain on Monday, July 15, cautioning against the convective clouds associated with rainfall as well as dust brought about by winds expected to blow in the country until 7.30pm today. Earlier in the day, a yellow alert was also issued for a chance of fog formation and a drop in horizontal visibility from 4am to 8.30am. Abu Dhabi Police has advised motorists to exercise caution and adhere to changing speed limits displayed on electric boards. The weather is expected to be fair to partly cloudy and hazy at times, with temperatures ranging from 29℃ to 43℃ in Abu Dhabi and 30℃ to 42℃ in Dubai.

The weather department forecasts that low clouds will appear over the East Coast in the morning, with convective clouds possibly forming towards the east in the afternoon. Humidity is expected to increase by night and Tuesday morning with a probability of fog or mist formation in some coastal areas. Additionally, there will be light to moderate winds that may freshen at times, with the sea expected to be slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea by Tuesday morning. As the NCM warns of potential rain and dust due to convective clouds and winds, it is essential for residents to stay informed and take necessary precautions. The yellow alerts issued for fog formation and reduced visibility highlight the importance of careful driving and adherence to speed limits. Abu Dhabi Police’s advice to motorists is valuable in ensuring road safety during changing weather conditions. It is important to remain vigilant and aware of the weather updates to prepare for any potential hazards that may arise.

The fair to partly cloudy and hazy weather forecast, along with the temperature ranges provided by the NCM, gives residents an idea of what to expect throughout the day. By knowing the expected weather conditions, individuals can plan their activities accordingly and make appropriate clothing choices to stay comfortable. The formation of low clouds in the East Coast and the possibility of convective clouds towards the east signal potential changes in weather patterns that should be monitored closely.

With increased humidity and the possibility of fog or mist in coastal areas, caution is advised for those traveling during the night and early morning hours. Light to moderate winds and varying sea conditions further emphasize the need for awareness and preparedness. It is essential to stay updated on weather developments and follow official guidelines in order to stay safe and mitigate any risks associated with changing weather conditions. As the weather fluctuates, staying informed and taking necessary precautions are key to ensuring safety and well-being.
