The UAE has undertaken Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 to provide world-class medical services to wounded and injured Palestinians at its floating hospital in Al Arish. The initiative aims to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people by offering complex surgeries and prosthetic services. The Prosthetics Centre at the hospital continues to fit artificial limbs for patients who lost their limbs during the war in the Gaza Strip, with arrangements being made for additional cases. Patients are also receiving physiotherapy and rehabilitation at the facility.

A 35-year-old patient named Suha underwent a successful complex surgery at the floating hospital, where her right hip joint was replaced with a full artificial joint. After two months of follow-up and treatment, she has returned to her normal life. The medical team at the hospital faced significant challenges performing such surgeries typically done in specialized hospitals, but their competence and necessary equipment led to a successful outcome.

The UAE Floating Hospital began offering medical services to Palestinians on February 24, with an Emirati medical team overseeing the diverse surgeries and providing necessary treatment and postoperative care. Launched as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the Prosthetics Centre at the hospital is equipped with the latest medical devices for orthopaedic treatment and prosthetics, addressing the urgent need to support the injured under dire circumstances faced by the Palestinian people in Gaza.

Through these dedicated humanitarian efforts, the UAE aims to alleviate the suffering of the wounded and injured Palestinians in Gaza. The initiative provides critical medical services to those in need, including complex surgeries and prosthetic fittings to improve their quality of life. The medical team at the floating hospital continues to perform surgeries and provide postoperative care to patients, ensuring their recovery and rehabilitation in a supportive environment.

The UAE Floating Hospital serves as a beacon of hope for Palestinians, offering world-class medical services and support to those in need. The success of complex surgeries and prosthetic fittings at the facility highlights the dedication and competence of the medical team. Through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the UAE continues to demonstrate its commitment to humanitarian efforts and supporting those affected by conflict and injuries in the region.

As the Prosthetics Centre at the floating hospital continues to assist patients with artificial limb fittings and rehabilitation, the initiative remains focused on providing holistic care to those in need. The availability of cutting-edge medical devices and the expertise of the medical team contribute to the success of surgeries and treatments at the facility. The ongoing support and dedication of the UAE to the Palestinian people in Gaza showcase the country’s commitment to humanitarian efforts and alleviating the suffering of the wounded and injured.
