UAE: A-Level exam results revealed; educators praise ‘impressive accomplishments’

The UAE witnessed a moment of celebration as students received their A-Level exam results, marking an important milestone in their academic journey. GEMS Education community set a record with 1,883 students completing 5,191 A-level exams across 22 schools in the UAE and Qatar. The results showed 26% of exam entries achieving A to A grades and 52% securing A to B grades, with exceptional performances from schools like Jumeirah College and Winchester School – Jebel Ali.

GEMS Founders School – Dubai and GEMS Metropole School – Motor City also reported strong performances, with 52% of A-level entries achieving A* to B grades. Additionally, GEMS Founders School – Al Mizhar and GEMS New Millennium School celebrated their first A-level cohorts. Dr. Saima Rana, Deputy CEO of GEMS Education, expressed pride in the students’ achievements and their potential to shape a brighter future.

In the pursuit of academic excellence, Taaleem-Dubai credited the success of students to the dedicated educators and unwavering support from families. Jebel Ali School saw a significant increase in the number of students and A-level exams taken, showcasing noteworthy performances by students like Azaan Yaqub, Ben Massingham, and Mia Storey who achieved outstanding grades. As students move on to the next chapter of their academic careers, they carry with them exceptional academic foundations and value-based education.

Brighton Colleges in the UAE also celebrated remarkable A-level results, with more than 50% of grades across all three colleges being awarded A to A. Brighton College Al Ain saw 50% of pupils offered places to study medicine globally, while Brighton College Dubai recorded 100% of pupils achieving A/A in Further Mathematics. Exceptional pupils like Lucy Evans, Anas Asha, and Adrika Lal achieved standout results and will pursue higher education in fields like Aerospace Engineering, Medicine, and Architecture.

Repton Abu Dhabi and Repton Dubai showcased academic excellence as well, with high percentages of A to A and A to B grades among students. Notable achievements include Harrison Maxwell pursuing Economics and Finance at the University of Exeter and Salma Ibrahim studying Engineering at the American University of Cairo. The outstanding performance of students like Youssef Thabet and Aayush Sen at Repton Dubai earned them acceptance offers from prestigious universities globally.

In conclusion, the A-Level results in the UAE highlighted the dedication and hard work of students, educators, and families in fostering academic excellence. These achievements set a strong foundation for students’ future endeavors as they embark on new academic challenges and shape their career paths. The outstanding performances across various schools reflect the commitment to providing quality education and preparing students for success in higher education and beyond.
