The Sports for All summer programme 2024 in Doha, Qatar, organized by the Qatar Sports For All Federation (QSFAF), is set to kick off today in various locations such as sports club playgrounds, halls, youth centres, and public parks. This programme features four different activities aimed at promoting sports and recreational activities for people of all ages, running until August 3.

The start of the programme will include a 365-day activity for men at Aspire parks and Al Gharrafa Air-Conditioned Park, Al-Rayyan, while the activity for women will begin at Al Laqta Gardens and Women’s Sports Committee. The activities are open to age groups ranging from 7 to 65, with daily sport exercises starting at 5pm and lasting for one hour. These activities are designed to encourage women to participate in sports and emphasize the benefits of regular exercise.

According to QSFA Director of Events and Activities Abdullah Al Dosari, the third summer activity program will take place at Lusail Gym for boys and girls aged 6 to 10 years. This program will run on a daily basis from 9am to 1pm, providing a structured and supervised environment for children to engage in various sports activities and develop their physical abilities. These activities aim to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among children and introduce them to the benefits of participating in sports from a young age.

In addition, the summer programme also includes activities for both boys and girls, focusing on promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyle habits among children. The activities will be held on a daily basis at Lusail Gym, emphasizing the importance of regular exercise and physical activity for overall health and well-being. Parents are encouraged to enroll their children in the summer program to help them stay active and develop a lifelong love for sports and physical fitness.
