A warm official reception ceremony was held at Al Alam Palace in Muscat for His Excellency President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of Algeria during his state visit to Oman. The ceremony was attended by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, who welcomed the Algerian President and accompanied him to the podium of honour where the Algerian national anthem was played and artillery fired 21 rounds in salute.
