The Milipol Qatar Exhibition and Conference is a global event for internal security and safety held in Doha, Qatar. The 15th edition of the exhibition was inaugurated by HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force, under the patronage of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. During the event, the Minister also launched the ‘Qatar Digital Identity’ application, which provides digital versions of ID cards and documents, allowing users to access electronic services without physical documents.

The ‘Qatar Digital Identity’ app simplifies the process of obtaining electronic services on the Ministry of Interior’s website, enabling access and activation through biometric data. The application facilitates various services within the country, making it easier for users to access electronic services and reducing the need for physical documents. It is a smart solution that streamlines the process of accessing services and enhances convenience for users.

The Milipol Qatar Exhibition and Conference is organized by the Ministry of Interior and is being held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) for three days. The event brings together several ministers, senior officials from the country, police chiefs from sisterly and friendly countries, ambassadors, experts, specialists from around the world, and leading international companies specializing in internal security. Representatives from exhibiting companies also participate in the exhibition.

During the inauguration of the exhibition, the Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force, along with the guests, toured the various pavilions of the exhibition. They had the opportunity to view the latest equipment and devices displayed, as well as innovative services and systems in internal security and civil defence. Explanations were provided on the features of the new security systems, their roles, advanced technologies, and how they enhance internal security, prevention, and protection from crimes.

Overall, the Milipol Qatar Exhibition and Conference serves as a platform for showcasing the latest advancements in internal security and safety. The presence of various ministers, officials, experts, and international companies at the event highlights the importance of collaboration and innovation in strengthening internal security measures. The launch of the ‘Qatar Digital Identity’ application further emphasizes the country’s commitment to leveraging technology for efficient service delivery and enhancing overall security procedures.
