The Second Media Forum in Ibri, Al Dhahirah Governorate kicked off with the theme “Media of the Future: Impact and Technology”. The event, organized by the Governorate’s Office, aims to highlight the importance of media in supporting local development. The Governor, Najeeb Ali Al Rawas, emphasized the role of the media in fostering partnerships between service institutions and the community to facilitate effective communication and decision-making processes.

Throughout the three-day forum, attendees will participate in training sessions conducted by experts and specialists in the field of media. The goal is to enhance media capacities and promote a culture of media literacy in the Governorate. The focus will be on developing innovative media skills to improve overall performance and enhance exposure. By investing in media training and education, the Governorate aims to create a more informed and engaged community.

The forum serves as a platform for media professionals and members of the community to come together and exchange ideas. Through discussions and workshops, participants will explore new trends and technologies shaping the future of media. By staying informed and adapting to the latest advancements, media practitioners can better serve their audience and ensure the dissemination of accurate and timely information.

In his speech, Governor Al Rawas highlighted the importance of collaboration between the media, service institutions, and the local community. Through effective communication and partnership, stakeholders can work together to address key issues and drive positive change in the Governorate. By fostering strong relationships and open channels of communication, the media can play a vital role in promoting transparency and accountability.

The forum also aims to showcase the potential of media technology in enhancing communication and engagement. With the rise of digital media platforms and social networking tools, media practitioners have new opportunities to reach wider audiences and share compelling stories. By harnessing the power of technology, the media can amplify its impact and promote greater understanding and awareness within the community.

As the Second Media Forum in Ibri continues, participants will have the opportunity to network, learn from industry experts, and gain valuable insights into the future of media.
