The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar has announced the opening of registration for the double promotion system, ‘Tasaro’. This system allows students who have passed the first round exams for the academic year 2023-24 in public schools and private schools following national standards to apply for second round exams to move to the upper grade. The conditions for the double promotion system require students from day schools to have an 85 percent pass rate, while students from adult and home education programs must have a 75 percent pass rate.

Furthermore, students who pass the exams for adult education will progress to the next grade level, with each grade level requiring the successful completion of exams. The double promotion system aims to shorten the number of school years for students, as experts believe that this will benefit the education system in Qatar. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar is dedicated to supporting and overseeing education in the country, with a focus on providing diverse schooling opportunities to meet the needs of individual students.

The education system in Qatar is continually evolving and expanding to ensure students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for the future. Qatar’s commitment to building a world-class educational system aligned with international standards is in line with the country’s vision for 2030. This vision aims to transform Qatar into an advanced society capable of achieving sustainable development. By focusing on designing innovative schools that cultivate independent and critical thinkers, Qatar is paving the way for a brighter future for its students.

The launch of the Tasaro double promotion system demonstrates Qatar’s dedication to enhancing its education system and ensuring that students have the opportunity to excel academically. By providing students with the chance to progress to higher grade levels based on their performance in exams, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education is promoting academic excellence and encouraging students to strive for success. This initiative aligns with Qatar’s broader goals of building a strong educational foundation that meets international standards and prepares students for the challenges of the future.

In conclusion, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar is taking significant steps to improve the education system in the country and provide students with the tools they need to succeed. By implementing initiatives such as the Tasaro double promotion system, Qatar is working towards its vision of becoming a leading educational hub in the region. This commitment to excellence in education will not only benefit students in Qatar but also contribute to the country’s overall development and progress.
