The Royal Academy of Management in Muscat has introduced the ‘Future Leaders’ programme in line with Oman Vision 2040 and the vision of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. The programme aims to develop national leaders with future leadership capabilities and skills, fostering positive change and sustainable development within public and private sector institutions. The initiative targets 50 participants with at least 3 years of experience and under 34 years old, including employees of small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, and freelancers. Over the course of 6 months, these participants will engage in three in-person modules and three talent labs starting from June to December.

This programme is part of the Academy’s strategic plan for 2024, designed to empower leaders in both public and private sectors by creating a learning environment that enhances their talents and leadership skills. The goal is to prepare second-tier leaders for higher levels of leadership in the future, focusing on applying the best international practical practices. The ‘Discover’, ‘Foresee’, and ‘Pioneer’ modules will enhance leadership, explore successful international experiences, and develop a business-success-oriented mindset, respectively. Participants will learn how to apply international best practices, develop future skills, and enhance their leadership abilities.

The ‘Future Leaders’ programme aims to equip young talents with the necessary skills and knowledge to become effective leaders. Participants will learn basic leadership principles, enhance self-awareness, strengthen cooperative relationships, develop strategies to overcome challenges, and enhance problem-solving skills and creativity. The programme also aims to foster a culture of innovation within teams and institutions, preparing participants for the future and enabling them to make a positive impact on their communities. Registration for the programme is open to young Omani talents who meet the requirements through the official social media accounts of the Royal Academy of Management.

In conclusion, the ‘Future Leaders’ programme launched by the Royal Academy of Management in Muscat aligns with Oman Vision 2040 and aims to develop future leaders with the skills and capabilities needed for sustainable development in public and private sector institutions. The initiative targets young talents with practical experience and provides them with a learning journey consisting of in-person modules and talent labs over a period of 6 months. By focusing on enhancing leadership, exploring international experiences, and developing a business-success-oriented mindset, the programme aims to empower leaders and prepare them for higher levels of leadership in the future. Through a focus on basic leadership principles, problem-solving skills, and fostering a culture of innovation, participants will be equipped to make a positive impact on their communities.
