This achievement adds to the country’s impressive record of security accomplishments in both Asia and the world. The Qatar delegation, led by Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs HE Sheikh Nayef bin Faleh bin Saud Al-Thani, participated in the assembly to support their candidate. The victory highlights the international community’s confidence in Qatar and its leadership role in establishing effective security standards that address contemporary challenges.

The Executive Committee of INTERPOL serves as the governing body responsible for overseeing the implementation of decisions made by the General Assembly and directing the work of the General Secretariat of INTERPOL. It plays a crucial role in ensuring the organization’s effective management and meets three times a year to discuss policies and trends that enhance security and international cooperation among member states. Qatar’s presence on the Executive Committee of INTERPOL highlights the country’s commitment to international security and cooperation. With its strong track record of security achievements, Qatar is well-positioned to make significant contributions to the organization’s efforts to combat transnational crime and enhance global security.
