The Qatar Meteorology Department has issued a weather forecast for the upcoming weekend in Doha, Qatar. The forecast predicts thundery rain with strong winds and high seas for today, October 24, and Friday, October 25, 2024. The department has also shared videos of heavy rain from various parts of the country, such as Al Khor and Al Dhakira, on its social media platforms. Additionally, radar images of thundery rain and cloud formation in the northern parts of the country have been shared as well.

Despite the scattered clouds and rain predicted, the temperatures are expected to range between 27 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius for the three days starting today. The forecast for Saturday indicates strong winds and high seas offshore, with relatively hot daytime temperatures and some clouds, along with moderate temperatures at night. The wind patterns are expected to be Northeasterly-Southeasterly, ranging from 5-15 knots today, before becoming Northwesterly at 8-18 knots gusting to 25 knots during rain. On Friday, the wind is forecasted to be Northwesterly-Northeasterly at 8-18 knots, gusting to 26 knots during thundery rain. Saturday will see the wind shift to Northwesterly at 8-18 knots.

According to the department, the sea heights are expected to be 2-4 feet, rising to 8 feet on Thursday, 4-7 feet rising to 9 feet on both Friday and Saturday. It is important for residents and visitors in Doha to be aware of these weather conditions and take necessary precautions to stay safe during the weekend. Being prepared for potential heavy rain, strong winds, and high seas is essential for ensuring the well-being of individuals in the area.

As the weather forecast predicts thundery rain and strong winds, it is advisable to avoid outdoor activities and stay indoors if possible. It is also recommended to secure any loose objects outside to prevent damage from the high winds. Those residing near the coast should be cautious of the high sea levels and take necessary measures to protect themselves and their property. Keeping informed about the latest updates from the Qatar Meteorology Department is crucial for staying safe and prepared during these weather conditions.

In conclusion, the weekend weather forecast for Doha, Qatar, includes thundery rain, strong winds, and high seas. Residents and visitors should pay attention to the latest updates from the Qatar Meteorology Department and take necessary precautions to stay safe. By staying informed and following safety guidelines, individuals can minimize the risks associated with the forecasted weather conditions and ensure their well-being during the weekend in Doha.
