The Nomas Center of the Ministry of Culture recently organized a trip to Norway under the theme “knowledge, literature and the company of majestic.” The aim of the trip was to learn about the culture of other peoples and introduce Qatari culture and traditions. Participants visited the Maritime Museum, the Nobel Peace Center, and took part in workshops on maritime heritage, public speaking, and speaking skills. The trip program was carefully planned to be comprehensive, diverse, and purposeful, providing participants with a fun and adventurous experience.

According to Director Ghanem Abdulrahman Al Kuwari, the trip aimed to contribute to the development of children and youth by offering them opportunities to learn and practice various heritage and educational activities. The Nomas Center’s mission is to enhance the national identity of children, discover and develop their talents, and encourage teamwork through trips, courses, and training workshops. By investing their free time in such activities, participants can gain valuable skills and knowledge while having a memorable experience.

The Maritime Museum visit allowed participants to explore exhibits and learn about maritime heritage. The Nobel Peace Center visit included a workshop on public speaking and speaking skills, providing participants with valuable communication tools. The trip program was designed to provide a well-rounded experience, offering workshops in various heritage and educational fields. Through these activities, participants were able to engage in hands-on learning experiences and broaden their horizons.

The Nomas Center plays a vital role in organizing cultural and exploratory trips like the one to Norway, offering participants the chance to immerse themselves in different cultures and learn from new experiences. By participating in such trips, individuals can broaden their horizons, gain new perspectives, and develop a greater appreciation for diversity. The center’s initiatives aim to foster a sense of curiosity and exploration among children and youth, encouraging them to develop a lifelong love for learning and discovery.

Overall, the trip organized by the Nomas Center provided participants with a unique opportunity to learn about the culture of Norway, as well as to showcase Qatari culture and traditions. By engaging in workshops, visits to museums, and other activities, participants were able to expand their knowledge and skills while enjoying a fun and enriching experience. The Nomas Center’s commitment to promoting heritage, authentic customs, and traditions through trips, courses, and training workshops is essential in helping children and youth develop a strong sense of national identity and cultural appreciation. Through these initiatives, the center is able to create meaningful opportunities for growth and learning for the younger generation.
