New hotel manager announced at Le Meridien City Center Doha

Le Méridien City Center Doha has recently appointed Naike Lopez as the new Hotel Manager, effective November 1, 2024. Naike brings with her 11 years of experience at Marriott International and a strong passion for hospitality. She is a graduate of Les Roches School of Hotel Management in Switzerland and has held various leadership roles in luxury hotels in Qatar, including Director of Conventions and Catering Sales at W Doha and Director of Food & Beverage at Al Messila Resort & Spa.

Naike’s expertise in food and beverage management was further enhanced during her time at Match Hospitality, where she oversaw catering operations for major global events such as the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023. She then returned to Marriott International as Director of Food & Beverage at Marriott Marquis City Center Doha and quickly rose to the position of Director of Operations before being appointed as Hotel Manager at Le Meridien City Center Doha in 2024.

Cyril Mouawad, Multi Property General Manager, expressed his excitement about Naike joining the team and lauded her extensive background in luxury hospitality, dedication to exceptional service, and deep understanding of the local and global market. He believes that Naike will continue to elevate the guest experience and solidify Le Méridien City Center Doha’s position as a leading destination in the region.

As the new Hotel Manager of Le Méridien City Center Doha, Naike Lopez is poised to continue the hotel’s tradition of excellence and outstanding guest service. With her wealth of experience and proven track record in luxury hospitality, she is well-equipped to lead the team and further enhance the guest experience at the property.

Naike’s journey in the hospitality industry began in 2012 with Marriott International, where she quickly rose through the ranks and held various leadership positions at luxury hotels in Qatar. Her experience in food and beverage management was honed during her time at Match Hospitality, overseeing catering operations for major global events.

With her strong background in luxury hospitality and a deep understanding of the local and global market, Naike is the ideal leader to take Le Méridien City Center Doha to greater heights. Her appointment as the new Hotel Manager reflects the hotel’s commitment to delivering exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience for every guest.
