Ministry of Labour administers job assessments for more than 7,000 job seekers.

The Ministry of Labour in Muscat recently conducted written tests and personal interviews for over 7,000 job seekers vying for 557 diverse job opportunities in 17 government agencies. The tests were held at the ministry’s headquarters in the Wilayat of Seeb, as well as at various departments across the Sultanate of Oman. Abdullah bin Sultan Al Sunaidi, Assistant Director for Employment and Replacement in the Government Sector, stated that the tests were carried out through the central electronic employment system for both male and female job seekers. Additionally, personal interviews were conducted for over 1,700 candidates.

The job vacancies included in the announcement catered to candidates with different educational backgrounds, ranging from bachelor’s degree holders to general diploma holders and below. Successful candidates were notified immediately of their results on tablet devices, allowing them to proceed with the appointment procedures.
