In a recent Cabinet meeting chaired by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, several key directives were issued and updates were shared. The King emphasized the importance of preserving Bahrain’s heritage by developing action plans to safeguard the historical and cultural identity of Bahraini architecture and cities. This includes finalizing the development plan for Muharraq and redeveloping the historic Manama Souq area. Additionally, the King focused on boosting food security and the environment by implementing plans to improve food security, support locally produced goods, and prioritize wildlife preservation and the development of the fishing industry.

The King also praised the National Committee’s efforts on initiatives presented at the recent Arab Summit, highlighting Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with all friendly nations to promote regional peace, security, and stability. Unity and values were another focus of the King’s directives, emphasizing the importance of unity among Bahrainis and their shared values as the nation’s source of strength. Preserving Bahraini values and traditions rooted in Arab and Islamic heritage were also emphasized.

Describing the Arab world as having a glorious history based on true Islam, respect for all religions, and a positive role regionally and globally, the King called for friends and partners to consider the region’s challenges and pursue comprehensive cooperation to address dangers and confront destructive policies. Addressing regional issues, the King highlighted the importance of rejecting differences, pursuing peace and good neighborliness, ensuring countries’ decisions are based on self-interests, and confronting shared regional challenges.

The Cabinet congratulated the newly elected leaders of Iran and the UK, wishing them success in their terms. His Majesty also directed relevant authorities to prepare for the upcoming Ashoora season, upholding the Kingdom’s tradition of openness and tolerance. The Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the King’s directives and pledged continued implementation of the discussed plans and initiatives.

Overall, the directives issued in the recent Cabinet meeting highlighted the King’s emphasis on preserving Bahrain’s heritage, boosting food security and the environment, promoting Arab cooperation and regional peace, unity and shared values among Bahrainis, and the importance of regional cooperation and addressing shared challenges. The King’s call for comprehensive cooperation and the rejection of differences to pursue peace and good neighborliness demonstrates Bahrain’s commitment to regional stability and cooperation. With preparations underway for the upcoming Ashoora season, the Kingdom continues its tradition of openness and tolerance, guided by the directives set forth by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
