French Ambassador Welcomes Bahraini Paralympic Delegation with Open Arms

In a heartwarming display of international sportsmanship, the French Ambassador to Bahrain, His Excellency Ambassador Eric Giraud-Telme, recently welcomed a delegation of Bahraini athletes who are gearing up to participate in the upcoming 2024 Paralympic Games. Led by Mr. Ali Mohammed Al Majid, the Secretary General of the Bahrain Paralympic Committee, the delegation met at the French Embassy for an official visit, where they were showered with well wishes and encouragement.

During the meeting, Ambassador Giraud-Telme praised the Bahrain Paralympic Committee for their dedication and hard work in preparing the athletes for the prestigious competition. He expressed his excitement for the upcoming Paris 2024 Games, emphasizing the unifying potential of the event. The Ambassador highlighted how the Games will bring together people from diverse backgrounds, celebrating inclusivity and diversity through the power of sports.

Acknowledging the French Embassy’s support in empowering individuals with disabilities in various fields, Mr. Al Majid, the Secretary-General, expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by the embassy. The 2024 Paralympic Games are scheduled to take place in Paris, France, from August 28th to September 8th, 2024. The Bahraini delegation, inspired by the warm reception from the Ambassador, is determined to make their country proud on the global sports stage.
