With high-level official representatives in attendance, the Taiwan Pavilion showcases its integrated AI ecosystem through the innovative “15-Minute AI Journey” experience to empower digital infrastructure.
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — August 31, 2026 — Coinciding with the grand opening of LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, “Taiwan Excellence” officially launched its participation in the exhibition by hosting its highly anticipated product launch event, “LEAP into the Future: Driving AI Success Together.”
The ceremony commenced with opening remarks delivered by Chairman of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), Mr. James C. F. Huang, and also joined by Representative Chih-Ping Chang, Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The opening addresses highlighted Taiwan’s growing role as a reliable and strategic partner for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and emphasized that bilateral cooperation extends beyond supplying hardware to co-creating sovereign, integrated, and sustainable solutions that directly support the digital transformation and knowledge-based economy goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The event featured detailed technical presentations by four pioneering Taiwanese companies, showcasing their latest breakthroughs in AI infrastructure and edge computing systems:
- ASUS: Presented its latest supercomputing servers and the advanced NVIDIA Blackwell HGX B300 system, designed to empower local sovereign computing and train complex LLMs with maximum data security and efficiency for public and enterprise sectors (presented by Eric Tsai, Country Product Manager).
- PEGATRON: Unveiled its next-generation liquid-cooled server technologies—a pivotal strategic solution for data centers and industrial environments designed to reduce power consumption and maintain peak performance under the region’s hot climate (presented by technology expert Cherry Liu, EMEA Project Manager).
- Advantech: Demonstrated its smart edge system solutions tailored for industrial applications and AIoT, alongside workstations designed to redefine efficiency in smart factories and complex field operations (presented by Ted Yao, Regional Sales Director).
- AAEON: Showcased its BOXER-8629AI rugged edge AI system, an IP67-rated fanless platform powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano and designed for harsh, dusty outdoor environments. Built for applications such as smart transportation and critical infrastructure, it delivers reliable edge computing performance under demanding desert conditions (presented by Brian Tsai, Sales Director).
At the conclusion of the launch event, the organizers extended an open invitation to all developers, procurement officials, and public and private sector representatives in the Kingdom to visit the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion over the remaining three days of the exhibition to explore new horizons for mutual growth and innovation.
