beIN Media Group has recently renewed its exclusive rights deal with the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) for the McDonald’s Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 BKT Championship. This five-year agreement will run from the 2024-25 season until the end of the 2028-29 season, ensuring that beIN will continue to provide top-notch coverage of the matches to its customers across 27 markets, including the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Turkiye, the US, and Canada.

As part of the deal, beIN will broadcast a minimum of four live McDonald’s Ligue 1 matches per match week, as well as the annual Trophée des Champions match. This partnership reinforces beIN’s position as a trusted partner of French football, with the company having held the rights in MENA, the US, Canada, and Turkiye for several years.

Yousef Al-Obaidly, Group CEO of beIN Media Group, expressed his enthusiasm for the continued partnership, highlighting beIN SPORTS’ support for the development of Ligue 1 internationally. He emphasized the company’s commitment to promoting French football through various initiatives, both domestically and internationally, showcasing over 50 grassroots football clubs in France via the beIN SQUAD program.

Vincent Labrune, President of the Ligue de Football Professionnel, also expressed his satisfaction with the renewal of the agreement, praising beIN SPORTS as a key broadcaster and partner of French football. Labrune highlighted the comprehensive coverage that beIN SPORTS provides in MENA, Turkiye, the USA, and Canada, offering a high-quality and innovative experience to football fans following their favorite teams and players.

The exclusive deal includes coverage of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 matches in the MENA region, spanning countries such as Algeria, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates, among others. This renewal comes on the heels of beIN’s extension of its broadcasting rights deal for LALIGA across 34 markets in the MENA and APAC regions, further solidifying the company’s commitment to bringing top-tier sports content to viewers worldwide.

In conclusion, beIN Media Group’s renewal of its exclusive rights deal with LFP for the McDonald’s Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 BKT Championship underscores the company’s dedication to delivering premier sports content to its audience across multiple markets. With a focus on providing a superior viewing experience for football fans, beIN SPORTS continues to strengthen its position as a leading broadcaster in the world of French football, offering comprehensive coverage and innovative programming for viewers in the MENA region, Turkiye, the US, and Canada.
