Amir’s Support Helps Qatari-Turkish Supreme Committee Succeed

The Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Turkiye, H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani, emphasized the importance of the Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee in enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries. Over the past nine years, this committee has played a crucial role in promoting cooperation and strategic coordination between Qatar and Turkey, thanks to the support of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and President of the Republic of Turkiye H E Recep Tayyip Erdogan. As a result of this collaboration, more than 100 agreements have been signed between the two nations.

The Ambassador explained that the Supreme Strategic Committee operates on multiple levels, involving coordination between various parties and ministries to ensure the successful implementation of agreements. The foreign ministries of Qatar and Turkey are responsible for overseeing negotiations related to these agreements, with diplomatic missions playing a supporting role in enhancing cooperation efforts.
