Doha, Qatar will host the Middle East debut of FuelFest, a globally recognized automotive and entertainment festival, on January 23, 2026, at Katara South Parking. Tickets are now available for purchase at platinumlist.net.

The one-day festival will feature appearances by actors Tyrese Gibson and Jason Statham, known for their roles in the Fast & Furious franchise, and live performances by hip-hop artists Ludacris and Busta Rhymes. FuelFest was originally created by the late Paul Walker’s brother, Cody Walker, and has since expanded to multiple countries.

FuelFest Qatar: A Boost for Automotive Tourism

This expansion into Qatar signifies the country’s increasing focus on attracting diverse tourism, including events centered around automotive enthusiasts. According to Visit Qatar, the event aligns with their strategy to position Doha as a leading destination for world-class entertainment and major international gatherings. The festival is expected to draw a significant number of visitors to the region.

The event’s organizers, Melt Live Middle East, anticipate FuelFest Qatar will set a new standard for lifestyle festivals in the Middle East. Managing Director Oweis Zahran stated the festival celebrates car culture, music, and community while honoring the legacy of Paul Walker. This debut is a major milestone for the region’s entertainment scene.

Event Highlights and Fan Experience

Beyond the celebrity appearances and musical performances, FuelFest promises an immersive experience for car enthusiasts. The festival will showcase a variety of high-performance vehicles, including customized cars, exotic sports cars, and drift demonstrations. Details regarding specific vehicle displays and interactive elements are expected to be released closer to the event date.

DJ Infamous will also perform, providing a soundtrack to the automotive displays and building anticipation for the headline acts. The combination of automotive displays and live music is a key component of the FuelFest experience, designed to appeal to a broad audience. The event aims to create a vibrant atmosphere for attendees.

Philanthropic Component and Community Impact

A portion of the proceeds from FuelFest Qatar will be donated to Reach Out WorldWide, a non-profit organization founded by Paul Walker. The organization provides disaster relief by deploying trained first responders to communities affected by natural disasters globally. This charitable aspect adds another layer of significance to the event.

The inclusion of a philanthropic component reflects the values associated with the Walker family and the original intent of FuelFest. This commitment to giving back is expected to resonate with attendees and further enhance the festival’s positive image. The event also supports local businesses through increased tourism and event-related spending.

Qatar has been actively seeking to diversify its economy and reduce its reliance on oil and gas, with tourism identified as a key growth sector. Events like FuelFest, alongside the FIFA World Cup 2022 and other sporting and cultural initiatives, contribute to this diversification. The country is investing heavily in infrastructure to support a growing tourism industry, including hotels, transportation, and event venues. This focus on entertainment is part of a broader strategy to attract international attention and investment.

Looking ahead, the success of the inaugural FuelFest Qatar will likely determine whether the event becomes a recurring fixture on the country’s annual calendar. Organizers will be closely monitoring ticket sales, attendee feedback, and the overall economic impact of the festival. Further announcements regarding potential future dates and expansions of the event are anticipated in the coming months.

The event’s impact on the regional car scene and the broader entertainment industry remains to be seen, but it represents a significant investment in both areas. The organizers are hoping to establish FuelFest as a premier event for automotive enthusiasts across the Middle East. The festival’s ability to attract both international stars and local audiences will be crucial to its long-term success.

Secondary keywords used include: automotive tourism, car scene, and entertainment festival.
