Qatar Calendar begins 2025 with a varied schedule of events

Visit Qatar kicks off the year with an exciting line-up of activities and experiences in various areas such as business events, entertainment, culture, and sports. The Qatar Calendar 2025 showcases dynamic events that aim to position Qatar as a top destination where visitors can create lasting memories and enjoy family-friendly events. The month of January started with the Shop Qatar Festival 2025, which runs until February 1 and features discounts, daily entertainment, and opportunities to win major prizes.

One of the unique experiences offered by Visit Qatar is the Sealine Season at Sealine Beach, a multi-activity desert experience that will take place over three weeks from January 3 to 27. This event will feature sports, entertainment, cultural displays, and engaging attractions. Another exciting activation is Ras Abrouq, which will run until January 18 and host special activities for everyone. Additionally, the Trophée des Champions Visit Qatar is set to take place at 974 Stadium on January 5, bringing together sports enthusiasts for a thrilling event.

For those interested in culture, Msheireb Museums will host Hosh Msheireb throughout January, offering cultural activities until January 31. Several events from 2024 will also conclude in January, providing visitors with the last chance to attend. The Voyage Through the Golden Sands Exhibition at Katara and the Crafting Design Futures at the Museum of Islamic Art will come to an end on January 7, showcasing Qatar’s desert landscapes and creative collaborations between Qatari and Moroccan artisans, respectively. The Textile hand-weaving workshop at Liwan Studios will conclude on January 5.

Looking ahead, Visit Qatar promises a diverse line-up of events throughout the year. The Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition 2025 will return with its 21st edition at the end of January, showcasing luxury and craftsmanship. Web Summit Qatar 2025 will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators from around the globe in February. The Ed Sheeran’s Global +–=÷x Tour 2025 will take place in April at the Lusail Multipurpose Hall, offering fans a world-class musical experience.

In February, the Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) will return for its 14th edition, while the Luminous Festival will provide a captivating celebration of light and art in March. Tennis fans can look forward to the ATP Open Qatar in February, featuring world-class matches. Additionally, the E1 Doha Grand Prix will host the world’s first all-electric raceboat series in February, adding to the excitement of the upcoming events in Qatar.

Overall, Visit Qatar is set to offer an exciting array of experiences for locals and tourists alike throughout the year, showcasing the diverse offerings of the country in terms of culture, entertainment, sports, and business events. From festivals and exhibitions to sports competitions and cultural activities, Qatar’s calendar for 2025 promises something for everyone to enjoy and create lasting memories. Whether it is exploring the desert landscapes, attending world-class concerts, or indulging in culinary delights, Qatar aims to be a top destination for visitors seeking unique and unforgettable experiences in the Middle East.
