Registration is now open for King Hamad Leadership for Peaceful Coexistence Programme

Registration is now open for the King Hamad Leadership for Peaceful Coexistence Programme, an initiative aimed at empowering Bahraini youth with global leadership and cognitive skills to promote respect, coexistence, and human fraternity. Interested Bahraini youth can apply via the centre’s website between January 2-31, where more information and admission requirements are available. Led by the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, the programme is part of efforts to prepare a new generation of young leaders committed to peaceful coexistence and mutual respect.

His Excellency Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, highlighted the programme’s alignment with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He stressed that the initiative reflects Bahrain’s commitment to being a model for dialogue and mutual understanding among religions and cultures. The programme, implemented in collaboration with Faith in Leadership and the 1928 Institute affiliated with Oxford University, aims to equip participants with academic training and professional tools to become ambassadors of peace capable of addressing religious hate speech, racism, and disputes through peaceful means.

Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed emphasized the programme’s role in fostering leadership skills and enhancing global understanding among participants. Through the collaboration with Faith in Leadership and the 1928 Institute, the programme aims to provide young leaders with the necessary skills to promote peace and address conflicts through dialogue and mutual understanding. By empowering Bahraini youth with the tools to combat hate speech, racism, and disputes peacefully, the programme seeks to create a generation of leaders committed to peaceful coexistence and mutual respect.

The King Hamad Leadership for Peaceful Coexistence Programme offers a unique opportunity for Bahraini youth to develop essential leadership skills and promote a culture of respect and understanding.
