The 2024 Qatar International Baja is set to take place from October 30 to November 2, featuring the sixth rounds of the FIA World Baja Cup and the FIM Bajas World Cup. Organized by the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF), the event will be chaired by QMMF President Abdulrahman Al Mannai. The challenging desert terrain in Qatar will be the backdrop for the race, with a tweaked timetable and a 9.9km Prologue stage kicking off the competition.

Competitive action will include stages for both FIA and FIM competitors, with varying distances and terrains. The Baja has become a pivotal event in the international FIA and FIM calendars, attracting top competitors like Nasser Saleh Al Attiyah and Mathieu Baumel who won the event in 2023. Entries are now open, with generous concessions being offered to competitors, including shipping allowances and start prizes. Flight and hotel accommodations will also be provided for international entrants who meet certain criteria.

Overall, the 2024 Qatar International Baja promises to be an exciting event for both competitors and spectators, with a challenging route and top-notch organization by the QMMF. With a compact route of 856.43km for FIA competitors and 888.50km for FIM entrants, the competition will test the skills and endurance of all participants. For more information about the event, interested individuals can contact the QMMF via email or visit their website.
