Eminem, one of the most iconic names in the music industry, is set to release a new single titled Tobey on July 2nd. This marks the second single from his highly anticipated album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace). Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of this single, especially after the success of his recent track, Houdini, which paid homage to his 2002 hit Without Me and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The announcement of Tobey came through Eminem’s social media, where he revealed collaborations with fellow Detroit native Big Sean and metro Detroit emcee Babytron. The title of the single, seemingly inspired by Spider-Man’s Tobey Maguire, was teased in a lyric preview. Along with the single, a music video directed by Cole Bennett is set to premiere on July 5th, adding to the excitement surrounding Eminem’s upcoming project.

In a preview of the music video, Eminem is seen sporting a distinctive hockey mask and chainsaw, reminiscent of his iconic stage persona during the Anger Management tour in 2000. This nod to his past performances adds an element of nostalgia to his recent musical endeavors, catering to longtime fans who appreciate the evolution of his artistry. With Tobey, Eminem continues to push boundaries and experiment with different themes and styles, showcasing his versatility and creativity as an artist.

The collaboration with Big Sean and Babytron hints at a diverse range of influences and sounds in Tobey, promising a unique and dynamic track that will resonate with fans of all ages. The anticipation for this release is palpable, with fans eagerly counting down the days until they can hear the new single and watch the accompanying music video. Eminem’s ability to consistently reinvent himself and stay relevant in an ever-changing industry is a testament to his talent and dedication to his craft.

As the release date approaches, excitement continues to build around Eminem’s upcoming projects and the direction he chooses to take with his music. With Tobey set to drop soon, fans are in for a treat as they witness another chapter in the legendary career of Eminem unfold before their eyes. Stay tuned for July 2nd when Tobey is released and experience the magic that only Eminem can deliver through his music.
