Qatar Museums Reveals Exciting July Schedule of Events and Activities

Qatar Museums has announced an exciting lineup of activities and events for the month of July, catering to various age groups and interests. From summer camps to arts and crafts workshops, museum tours, storytelling sessions, and Family Day, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) is hosting a summer camp called Wealth of Qatar, where participants aged 8 to 10 can learn about traditional Qatari culture and create a mural reflecting their understanding. Another workshop at NMoQ, Design for Games, will teach participants aged 11 to 18 the art of digital design. AI Centre Open Door and Chatbot workshops are also available for registration.

The Archaeology & Heritage Dept summer camps at Fahd Bin Ali Palace offer opportunities for both children and adults to learn about artifacts and archaeological excavation techniques. At Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, workshops like Youth Animation Workshop and Let’s Make Books & Stories provide hands-on experience in storytelling and animation. The Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) is hosting a variety of events, including a story time session based on The Good Dinosaur, workshops on art exploration, wood uses, watercolor painting, and Arabic calligraphy. Family Day activities at MIA include learning about different uses of wood and a workshop on watercolor painting.

Children’s Museum of Qatar, Dadu, is hosting a summer camp for children aged 8 to 11, focusing on health, wellness, and the environment. This camp offers an engaging and interactive experience that blends learning with fun while promoting cultural awareness and heritage. The camp takes place at the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum and requires registration. Qatar Museums aims to enrich the cultural scene in the nation by providing diverse and engaging experiences for residents and visitors.
