The project aims to utilize satellite and AI technologies to enhance the efficiency of locating ships, monitoring sea conditions, and forecasting the weather to elevate the UAE’s status as a leading maritime hub globally. One of the primary goals of the project is to develop a database of ships calling at UAE ports and enhance the security of maritime facilities and coasts by tracking the location of ships without tracking devices.
