The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the recent bombing of a school in the Nuseirat camp in Gaza by Israeli forces. The school, which was affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), was housing displaced civilians at the time of the attack. Saudi Arabia expressed its complete rejection of the targeting of civilians and called for an immediate ceasefire to ensure the protection of civilians and relief facilities.

The Kingdom emphasized the importance of activating international accountability mechanisms in response to the ongoing violations of international humanitarian law and international legitimacy resolutions by Israeli forces. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for the need to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure in conflict zones and stressed the urgency of ending the cycle of violence that has plagued the region for far too long. Saudi Arabia stands in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their right to live in peace and security.

The bombing of the school in the Nuseirat camp is just one example of the violence and conflict that continues to ravage the Gaza Strip. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the devastating impact of such attacks on innocent civilians, especially women and children, who are often the most vulnerable in times of conflict. Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the principles of international law and human rights, calling on the international community to take action to protect the rights and dignity of all people affected by the conflict.

In light of the recent escalation of violence in Gaza, Saudi Arabia urged all parties to the conflict to respect international law and humanitarian principles. The Kingdom called for an immediate end to the hostilities and for efforts to be made to achieve a lasting ceasefire that will ensure the safety and security of civilians in Gaza. Saudi Arabia stressed the importance of addressing the root causes of the conflict and working towards a peaceful resolution that respects the rights and aspirations of the Palestinian people.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Saudi Arabia’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and its commitment to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. The Kingdom called on the international community to take a firm stand against the illegal occupation of Palestinian territories and to hold those responsible for violations of international law and human rights to account. Saudi Arabia pledged to continue its diplomatic efforts to support the Palestinian people and their aspirations for freedom, justice, and peace.

In conclusion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia strongly condemned the bombing of a school in the Nuseirat camp in Gaza and called for an immediate ceasefire to protect civilians and relief facilities in conflict zones.
