The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, in collaboration with the Oman Football Association, has initiated a campaign to support the Oman national football team in the final qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. The ceremony featured a visual presentation outlining the team’s journey in the qualifiers, including their previous participation in the U-17 World Cup finals. The campaign aims to provide logistical and media support to ensure the team’s success in the upcoming matches.

Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Amri, Director General of Sports Activities, emphasized the importance of supporting the national football team in their quest to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. He highlighted the excitement and enthusiasm surrounding the event, as well as the need for creating optimal conditions for the team to perform at their best. The campaign seeks to unite various sectors, including government and private media institutions, to rally behind the team.

Secretary General of the Oman Football Association, Mohammed bin Suleiman Al Yahmadi, expressed the significance of reaching the 2026 World Cup as a national goal. He emphasized the collaboration between different ministries and media institutions in supporting the team’s journey. Former international player Ali bin Abdullah Al Habsi also emphasized the importance of unified support for the team in the upcoming qualifiers.

The campaign, titled “We are all with you,” was launched with the aim of garnering widespread support for the national football team as they prepare for the final qualifiers. The logo was designed to symbolize sports, speed, and boldness, showcasing unity among different segments of society. The ultimate goal is to propel the team towards the 2026 World Cup and secure their place among top teams in the tournament.

The national team is set to kick off their journey in the qualifiers against the Iraqi team, followed by matches against South Korea, Kuwait, Jordan, and Palestine. The team has shown promising results in the qualifiers so far, topping their group with 13 points. With the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, the Oman Football Association, sports clubs, and the private sector, the team aims to enhance their capabilities and performance in the upcoming matches.

As the campaign gains momentum, fans and supporters are encouraged to stand behind the national team and provide unwavering support throughout their journey. The unity and solidarity displayed during past tournaments have been instrumental in the team’s success, and it is hoped that this support will continue to fuel their performance in the qualifiers. The national team’s upcoming matches are crucial steps towards achieving their dream of competing in the 2026 World Cup.
