Pakistan celebrates its 77th Independence Day in Oman

Pakistan’s Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervor at the Pakistan School Muscat, where the Ambassador of Pakistan to Oman, Imran Ali, presided over the flag hoisting ceremony. The event was attended by embassy officials, Pakistan Navy Ship YARMOOK crew, Pakistani community members, and school faculty and parents. Ambassador Ali emphasized the significance of a free homeland and commemorated the sacrifices made during the Pakistan Movement.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Ali also recognized the heroic actions of some Pakistanis who had shown exceptional bravery during a recent firing incident in Muscat. He presented appreciation certificates to these individuals, acknowledging their courage in saving innocent lives. The Ambassador used the occasion to highlight the importance of unity and solidarity within the Pakistani community, especially during times of crisis.

In his address, Ambassador Ali extended warm greetings to all Pakistanis residing in Oman on the occasion of the country’s 77th Independence Day.
