Omani students achieve success in Malaysian competition

The Ministry of Education recently participated in the 35th edition of the International Exhibition of Invention, Innovation and Technology in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Three female students from Dohat Al Adab School in Muscat Governorate and Sawda Umm Al-Mu’minin School in ADhahirah Governorate represented the Ministry at the event. The team from Dohat Al Adab School won first place and a gold medal in the field of information technology for developing a hybrid artificial technology to detect liver cirrhosis. They also received special awards from various organizations, including Indonesia, Singapore, and Qatar.

The team from Sawda Umm al-Mu’minin Basic Education School won second place and a silver medal in the field of science and environment for inventing green chemistry to manufacture nano-iron. They also received a special award from Al-Tuwaiq Academy in Saudi Arabia. This international participation highlights the Ministry of Education’s commitment to promoting innovation and scientific excellence among students in Oman.

These achievements demonstrate the talent and dedication of Omani students in the field of innovation and technology.
