The Ministry of Interior in Doha, Qatar recently showcased cutting-edge technologies, equipment, and advanced devices at its pavilion, drawing significant interest from various Ministry departments. The General Traffic Department was highlighted for its state-of-the-art mobile radars, which are designed to monitor and classify multiple traffic violations simultaneously using high-resolution imagery. These radars also allow for remote monitoring of violations through tablets and mobile phones. Additionally, the pavilion featured the latest drones for traffic management, capable of overseeing traffic flow, tracking road incidents, detecting violations, analyzing data, providing guidance during natural disasters, and assisting in the organization of public events.

In addition to the General Traffic Department’s mobile radars and drones, the department also showcased a patrol vehicle and motorcycle from its recently upgraded fleet, as well as special vehicle plate models issued for events like the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The General Directorate of Industrial Security displayed advanced inspection and detection systems capable of rapidly analyzing materials in goods, parcels, and luggage, streamlining inspection processes. These robust and portable devices can be easily transported and deployed across various locations. The department also showcased a portable multi-purpose device operating on the Android system, designed for use under challenging weather conditions and capable of verifying identity documents, entry permits, and determining locations with high precision. A modern hydrogen sulfide gas detection device was also part of the exhibit.

The Establishments and Authorities Security Department, particularly its Support and Backup section, presented a range of equipment used across different operations, along with the department’s latest patrol vehicles. The Ministry of Interior emphasized the role of these advanced technologies and equipment in enhancing security and efficiency in various operations carried out by the Ministry departments. The innovative devices and systems displayed at the pavilion demonstrate the Ministry’s commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements in order to better serve and protect the public.

This display also highlighted the Ministry’s efforts to leverage technology for improved industrial security, with the General Directorate of Industrial Security showcasing cutting-edge inspection and detection systems. These devices not only streamline inspection processes but also offer enhanced portability and ease of deployment. The portable multi-purpose device, in particular, stands out for its ability to operate effectively in challenging weather conditions and provide accurate verification of identity documents and entry permits.
