The Ministry of Education and Higher Education recently concluded an induction program for 410 new teachers who were recruited to work in government schools. The program aimed to prepare the new teachers for their roles in the teaching profession and familiarize them with the educational environment. Various sectors of the Ministry participated in the program, which included training workshops to enhance the teachers’ capabilities in areas such as planning, teaching strategies, and using education assisting technologies.

The “Tamkeen” program started on August 21 and focused on developing effective study plans, improving educational methods, and introducing teachers to the learning management system in government schools. The new teachers were also introduced to the organizational structure of the Education Ministry, its tasks, responsibilities, job system, code of conduct, policies, and work regulations. The program aimed to equip the teachers with the necessary competencies to succeed in their professional careers.

At the end of the program, the Director of the Training and Development Center at the Ministry welcomed the new teachers and wished them success in their careers. The center is committed to providing the new teachers with the competencies they need through a training program designed to enhance their capabilities in the field of teaching. The goal is for the new teachers to make a qualitative addition to the education system and improve its outcomes.

The process of training and empowering new teachers will continue through various cadres in the ministry and schools. The teachers will follow a training path designed by the Training and Development Center during their first year of work in government schools. The center is dedicated to supporting the new teachers and ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles as educators.

Overall, the induction program for new teachers in government schools aimed to prepare them for their roles in the teaching profession and familiarize them with the educational environment. The program included training workshops to enhance the teachers’ capabilities in various areas, such as planning, teaching strategies, and using education assisting technologies. The Ministry is committed to supporting the new teachers and ensuring they have the competencies they need to succeed in their professional careers and enhance the education system’s outcomes.
