LMRA announces sweeping digital upgrades to 50 services, aiming to boost efficiency and user satisfaction. Nebras Talib, the CEO of LMRA, outlined key updates including a more efficient licensing and renewal process for recruitment agencies, improved online settlement procedures, and enhanced services for domestic and work permits. The changes are intended to increase efficiency and service quality by integrating digital solutions, reducing completion times, and simplifying procedures. Many services are now available online, cutting down the need for in-person visits and streamlining processes.

Efforts to enhance services align with Bahrain’s goal of becoming a leading business hub. Mr. Talib emphasized that these upgrades are in response to directives from HRH Shaikh Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to speed up processing and improve digital solutions. The LMRA has revamped 50 services, with a focus on business owners, domestic employees, and expatriate workers. This initiative supports Bahrain’s broader development objectives under the guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The time to license recruitment agencies has been reduced from 60 days to 20, and the required documents have been halved. Work abandonment notifications are now processed in 11 days instead of 30, and the work permit quota service has been shortened from 13 days to 3. Mr. Talib reiterated the LMRA’s commitment to keep improving, staying abreast of global digital trends, and supporting Bahrain’s ambition to become a leading business and investment center in the region. These changes are designed to improve the work environment and user experience, in line with Bahrain’s development goals.

The LMRA’s ongoing efforts to enhance services and procedures are part of the Crown Prince’s directive to develop 500 services across 24 government entities. The authority’s digital upgrades are aimed at bettering the work environment and user experience. With a focus on efficiency and service quality, the LMRA is working towards becoming a leading business and investment centre in the region. The digital upgrades will help streamline processes, reduce completion times, and simplify procedures for licensing, renewals, and other services offered by the LMRA.

These changes are in line with Bahrain’s broader development objectives, under the guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. By revamping 50 services, the LMRA is working towards enhancing the business environment and supporting Bahrain’s ambition to become a leading business hub in the region. The digital upgrades will not only benefit business owners, domestic employees, and expatriate workers, but will also contribute to Bahrain’s overall development goals and its vision of becoming a key player in the global business and investment landscape.
