Historic Number of Citizens Participate in Referendum Committees on Proposed Constitutional Amendments

Doha saw a record turnout of citizens at the first referendum committee chaired by Maj. Gen. Dr. Abdullah Yousef Al Mal at Ali bin Hamad Al Attiyah Hall in Al Sadd Club. The voting process was smooth, thanks to the facilities provided by the General Referendum Committee. Citizens came out in large numbers since early morning to cast their votes on the draft constitutional amendments, in response to the invitation of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. This demonstrates the commitment of the citizens to prioritize their homeland, both now and in the future.

Maj. Gen. Dr. Abdullah Yousef Al Mal emphasized the importance of every citizen casting their vote before the 7 p.m. deadline, assuring that the voting process is seamless and easy. He urged those who have not voted yet to do so promptly, highlighting the significance of their participation in shaping the future of the country.
