The team behind the Telegram-based tap-to-earn game Hamster Kombat is gearing up for a historic token airdrop, with 60% of the tokens dedicated to players. In a newly released whitepaper, the developers shared details about the project’s tokenomics and future plans. Originally scheduled for July, the token launch has experienced delays, but the team is actively working on making the airdrop happen. The whitepaper claims that Hamster Kombat will conduct the largest airdrop in the history of crypto, targeting its user base of 300 million players.

With a strong community of gamers earning token rewards through the clicker game on The Open Network (TON) blockchain, Hamster Kombat has quickly gained recognition in the crypto space. Inspired by the success of Notcoin, another Telegram-based clicker game that airdropped over 80 billion tokens worth $1 billion, Hamster Kombat aims to replicate this success. The developers have indicated that Notcoin’s achievement served as an inspiration for their own project. As part of their expansion plans, Hamster Kombat intends to onboard other developers through grants and introduce new features such as squads and time-limited events with special rewards.

The whitepaper outlines the token supply allocation for the upcoming HMSTR token, with 60% earmarked for players. The remainder will be allocated towards market liquidity, ecosystem partnerships and grants, rewarding squads, and other purposes. Notably, the project is not backed by investment firms or venture capitalists, ensuring minimal sell pressure. The developers emphasize that Hamster Kombat is a profitable business and does not need to sell team token allocations to cover expenses. This approach sets it apart from other projects in the crypto space.

While a specific launch date for the HMSTR token is not provided in the whitepaper, the developers emphasize that the airdrop is just the first step in building the Hamster ecosystem, which will extend beyond the current game. With 50 million daily active users across 190 countries, the game has seen rapid growth. The team also announced plans for a Season 2 campaign with additional crypto rewards, signaling further developments in the pipeline. Overall, Hamster Kombat’s innovative approach to token distribution and player engagement positions it as a key player in the evolving crypto gaming landscape.
