Preparations for Saudi National Day Celebrations
The municipalities across the regions and cities of Saudi Arabia have completed their on-ground and operational preparations to welcome citizens and visitors during the Saudi National Day celebrations. Initiatives include the enhancement of public parks, recreational areas, and municipal facilities, along with the setup of locations designated for festive activities and programs dedicated to this national occasion.
Comprehensive Plans for National Day
This year’s preparations fall under integrated plans aimed at elevating the readiness of public facilities. The focus is on providing a safe and well-organized environment for families and individuals to enjoy the National Day programs amidst a structured setting that reflects the significance of the occasion and the pride associated with national achievements. The efforts involved ensuring that celebration venues, walkways, entrances, and exits are ready, maintaining lighting poles, preparing service facilities, and enhancing public safety elements, all contributing to organized visitor movement and an elevated comfort level at event sites.
Enhancing Aesthetic Appeal
Moreover, several municipal locations and facilities have been adorned with national identities and festive elements to boost the celebratory atmosphere in public parks and squares. This effort brings joy and showcases the beauty of Makkah during the National Day festivities. Included in the preparations were the maintenance of green spaces, trimming of trees and shrubs, planting seasonal flowers, servicing irrigation systems, and improving pathways and public seating areas. Additionally, inspections of children’s play equipment were conducted to ensure safety and readiness for use.
Service Facilities Readiness
The municipalities prioritized the readiness of service facilities within the parks and celebration sites. This includes restrooms, parking lots, pedestrian walkways, seating areas, and organizational barriers, ensuring accessibility for all community members. Concurrently, efforts intensified in public cleanliness and environmental sanitation. Field teams monitored facility readiness, observed any arising issues, and ensured compliance with health and municipal regulations in establishments surrounding celebration venues and public gardens, thereby supporting visitor safety and the quality of services provided.
