The General Food and Nutrition Authority, through its Capital Governorate Inspection Department, has successfully shut down a food establishment for serious violations, including the sale of expired food and mishandling of frozen meat marketed as fresh. This initiative, conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, resulted in the destruction of 88 kilograms of meat lacking proper source verification, as well as the filing of 10 violation reports.
