Dhofar’s Khareef season has been instrumental in driving the growth of youth-led entrepreneurial projects in the region. Supported by government agencies and private sector institutions, these projects are making a significant impact on the local economy, creating job opportunities, and increasing individual incomes. Among the notable projects that have emerged during this season are Osara, Lamir Al-Maghsail, Seda Park, and Revel Park.

Osara, founded by Majid bin Ali Al-Masahli, is an integrated tourist and entertainment site located on the beach of the Raysut area in the Wilayat of Salalah. The project aims to offer a variety of recreational activities, cultural events, dining options, and relaxation sessions suitable for all age groups. Similarly, Lamir Al-Maghsail, established by Nader bin Bakhit Fadel, is a recreational tourist site featuring restaurants, cafes, children’s activities, pleasure boats for sea trips, an artificial waterfall, and family beach seating.

Seda Park, owned by Hamza bin Mohammed Al Ghassani, is a mobile food cart park that offers meals, drinks, and related services from a variety of cafes and restaurants. Additionally, Revel Park, created by Muslim bin Abdul Salam Al Rawas and implemented by “Sar” Events Company, is a square dedicated to mobile sales outlets, restaurants, cafes, and entertainment activities. These projects showcase the creativity and entrepreneurial skills of young Omanis and highlight their potential to contribute significantly to the development of the country, especially in the tourism and hospitality sectors.

Overall, these youth-led entrepreneurial projects not only stimulate the local economy but also provide a platform for showcasing innovative ideas and promoting the talents of young Omanis. By creating job opportunities and increasing individual incomes, these projects play a crucial role in driving the economic growth of the region. The success of these projects also underscores the importance of supporting and nurturing young entrepreneurs to harness their potential for creating a more vibrant and diverse economy in Oman.

In conclusion, the Khareef season in Dhofar has become a catalyst for the growth of youth-led entrepreneurial projects, with government agencies and private sector institutions providing support and resources to help these projects succeed. Osara, Lamir Al-Maghsail, Seda Park, and Revel Park are just a few examples of innovative projects that are making a positive impact on the local economy and showcasing the entrepreneurial potential of young Omanis. By encouraging and empowering young entrepreneurs, Oman is paving the way for a more dynamic and prosperous future, particularly in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
